![]() Intentional Creativity is about healing our stories with intention and through art. Amit Goswani writes in his book Quantum Creativity. Think Quantum. Be Creative. “For most of us, creative motivation requires a crisis – either externally, like a threat to our physical survival, or an internal crisis of intense suffering.” What Intentional Creativity offers, is an opportunity to experience a breakthrough or a healing in your life without the crisis or the breakdown that usually comes before. Does it mean that you get to skip over the breakdown every time? No, but the creative process inside a sacred and safe space allows you to not dwell in the breakdown and sometimes, skip it entirely. We are natural creators. We create all the time, in our conversations, actions, and thoughts. However, more often than not, we are not aware and even less intentional. As a Law of Attraction coach, I have been coaching my clients to be deliberate and intentional creators. This is so essential! If you read about the Law of Attraction, you know that it is a lot about what you think and how you feel. You attract what you send out. The problem it created is the “I have to think positive” mindset. A lot of people are starting to feel pressured, afraid of having negative thoughts and they do not let themselves experience their less comfortable emotions such as anger, sadness or fear. In this painting process, you get to acknowledge your past stories and you give it a space on your canvas. After, it becomes possible to move forward and transform your wounds, pains, and traumas into a teaching for yourself and maybe for others. The process has the potential to make you feel better. And as you do, you get closer to the feeling of joy, love and gratitude you really want to experience and that brings your true desires into reality. Here is how intentional creativity can serve you: - It creates a container where you have access to solutions you couldn’t think of because you use both sides of your brain. - It allows you to not only explore the archetypes but also to embody them. Who doesn’t want to embody the archetype of the Wild Woman that has the power to resurrect the dreams and desires that had died? Or the Goddess of love and sensuality? Or the Queen of Abundance and Prosperity? - It gives you a way to integrate your outer and inner life. - It enables you to achieve spiritual fulfillment. - It can help make you rich and famous, if that’s what you’re looking for! 1st step to create NOW with intention: start by acknowledging how you feel, what is the story behind the feeling and journal about it. Many blessings to you.
