One of my most favorite tools, one I've used since I was really young, contributed to a happy, fulfilled, and exciting life. I certainly have experienced hardships and challenges but because of this tool, I have been able to move through these with hope and trust.
This tool is called Visioning Your Awesome Future. Over the last several years, I have offered different guided visionings in my newsletter and in my series of joy emails. However, I have never explained the idea behind it; the core concepts that make this tool powerful for healing and manifesting. I know that for some people it's important to know the why and how - I have some people in my family like that, so I understand .
Did you know that you already visit your future many times a day? Which one are you most often connecting to? The mediocre, the good or the awesome one? If you are not intentional, your brain most likely visions the awful or mediocre future by default, which creates anxiety, worry, fear, and depression.
What would happen if you redirected your mind to imagine an awesome future instead... how would that impact your present life? And what if this awesome future self could give you some guidance toward the next step in the present?

An other of my favorite oil these days: DigestZen from doTerra. A wonderful blend of Anise Seed, Peppermint Plant, Ginger Rhizome/Root, Caraway Seed, Coriander Seed, Tarragon Plant, and Fennel Seed essential oils. It is wonderful companion to aid in the digestion of food, soothe occasional upset stomachs, and reduce uncomfortable gas and bloating.*

When I started using this blend of essential oil it relieved the pain almost immediately. I don't need to take any pills and "tumbs" like I used to do for months.

I need that reminder often! It's so easy to forget. For many of us, culture and religion instilled very profound messages in our psyche and trying to change the pattern is not easy and doesn't feel good.
These sayings make me realize 2 things:
1- It doesn't have to be "it's either me or them and since I don't want to be selfish I will put everyone else first and then if there is time, if I have energy, I will do something for myself". We can change the paradigm into a "I will take care of myself AND then give from the overflow of love and joy.
2- It also reminds me of this quote from Marianne Williamson:
“Our deepest fear is not that we are inadequate. Our deepest fear is that we are powerful beyond measure. It is our light, not our darkness that most frightens us. We ask ourselves, 'Who am I to be brilliant, gorgeous, talented, fabulous?' Actually, who are you not to be? You are a child of God. Your playing small does not serve the world. There is nothing enlightened about shrinking so that other people won't feel insecure around you. We are all meant to shine, as children do. We were born to make manifest the glory of God that is within us. It's not just in some of us; it's in everyone. And as we let our own light shine, we unconsciously give other people permission to do the same. As we are liberated from our own fear, our presence automatically liberates others.”
By loving ourselves, by knowing that we matter, by knowing and freely express our uniqueness, we give other people permission to do the same. Let's give our daughters and sons, our friends, our family permission to be who they are! Let's show them how it's done!!!
Let's not take that gift away from anyone. Learn to receive gracefully:
1- Look in the eyes.
2- Simply say thank you.
3- Acknowledge what you receive from the Universe, make a daily gratitude list.
4- Imagine your heart wide open.
5- You don't need to downplay a compliment or deny it or go into a compliment war.
It is uncomfortable at first but it's so worth it to get over the discomfort. The connection with our fellow human beings strengthen. We are more open to all the blessings surrounding us to come into our experience. The way we perceive the world changes. We fill out our well and give from the overflow of love, gratitude and joy. I tell you, it's a service to humanity to know how to receive gracefully. Try it!
I was guided to shoot a short video to share about the upcoming workshop: Harvest Muse where we will explore our relationship to abundance and our capacity to receive gracefully.
During the video, I received the unexpected visit of a very loving cat, I didn't cut out my reaction. The timing was perfect! I tried all day to shoot this video and every time, it didn't feel right. I guess I needed the presence of this loving creature that gave me the opportunity to receive love. Check it out!

Last year, I fell in love with essential oils. I have been using them quite often and learned to appreciate their effects on my mind, body, and spirit. And like always, when I fall in love, I want to share with everyone. My goal is to showcase one a month and share how I use them.
This month - Wild Orange
I love the fresh scent of Wild Orange! This is one of my first go to essential oil. Everyone needs at least one of this baby for a quick uplift.
I use it in my diffuser at home and in the studio. It helps me focus and sustain my energy. A task that would usually drain me fast takes longer before I need a mental break. I like using Wild Orange when I start a new creative project or when I feel stuck in the middle of one. When I want to look at a situation with a new perspective, Wild Orange contributes in me feeling more joyful.
I am not as inclined to interrupt myself with menial distractions. I also use this oil when I catch myself thinking "lack" thoughts. It contributes greatly in shifting those thoughts to more abundant and joyful ones. And it stimulates my creativity amazingly!
I know some people use Wild Orange internally and reap out great benefits but it doesn't resonate with me right now. These oils are very potent and my stomach being already sensitive, I don't want to risk getting it worse. Before ingesting essential oils, do your research and be very careful.

In our lives, how do we deal with someone who is looking at the exact same situation but seeing something absolutely different than we do... who would be right then?
What if no one was wrong! In that case, how would we manage and resolve a conflict if both parties were right? Isn't it what's creating a lot of the conflicts all around the world? "My perspective is right, yours is wrong!"
1- First of all, we need to be willing to let go of our desire to be right. It come a time when we have a choice to make: Being right or being happy... not as easy and obvious as it may seem.
2- When we release the need to be right, the next step is to acknowledge that our perspective is influenced by our perception. We look at events and people through filters created by our family, friends, religion, culture, media and life experiences.
3- Then, question these perspectives. Do you need to keep them or could you look at the events and people from a different angle? What possibilities would open up if you changed your perspective? Question, question, question, and challenge everything you know and believe.
4- Next, engage with people that you are in conflict with. Do not bring your righteous indignation and desire to change them or convince them that you are right but wonder about the life experiences that led them to their perspective.
Growing up catholic, I heard that Jesus was our savior, the Way,
and the Truth and that was it.
As a child and teenager, I used to ask: "Who says that this is the truth and
the only truth? How come so many people would be wrong?
How come they don't even feel wrong? What if they were right?
What if we were all wrong?"
The answers I would get were not to my satisfaction and
more often than not I was simply shushed for not knowing what I was
talking about and for doubting the Truth. How dared I?
5- Then listen, listen, listen. Keep being curious about other people's mindset. Listen without agenda, without forcing an outcome.
6- We need to be ok with not knowing how to resolve the conflict at this point in time and still trust that it's possible to find a way. Practice being patient and open.

One of the gifts of Intentional Creativity® is to bring mindfulness and curiosity about what we experience in front of our canvas or paper into our lives. Inquiry without forcing an answer is a big part of this method. The goals are to practice becoming more comfortable with the mystery of not knowing and to stay open to answers we didn't know. The processes used serve to unlock the inner wisdom and access the collective consciousness.
I was recently playing with shapes, drips, and colors on my canvas. When I turned the canvas upside down what were originally feathers became trees. Of course, it led me to think about perspective and how it influences our lives and it made me question the perspectives I hold dear in many areas of my life.
So, looking at the picture above, what are those shapes? Feathers, or trees, or ...? Well they are both and more! Maybe you would see feathers upside down and upside up or trees upside down and upside up. Maybe you would see something else completely different. What's the right perspective? Is there a wrong one? Can we live in harmony in a world where all the perspectives are allowed?
I invite you to take some time this week to inquire and journal about your own perspectives on life, people, the world and the universe. Next week, I will reflect on how to deal with conflicts created by two people looking at the exact same situation but seeing absolutely two different things. How would you deal with this?

It also offers you many opportunities to practice faith, trust, self-love, acceptance, and forgiveness.
The good news is that you are not the only one walking this path. And even if you haven't found your tribe of life reinventors, life shakers yet, know that you are never in this alone!!!
You are always guided, inspired, and deeply loved.
Now whether you are feeling it or not is another story!
Take a moment right now, to close your eyes and feel the energy around you and in you. Feel the love of the Divine that created everything permeate your whole being. Consciously breathe in this love and feel it going deep into your heart,
into every cell of your body, into your energy field and rippling out in the world.
As you breathe out, let go of the fear, doubts and worry.
They are telling a story about you, the world and the Divine that is
not necessarily the truth.
I would like to leave you with this inquiry to be with. Do not try to answer with your rational mind. Release the judgment. For the purpose of this exercise, imagine that there is nothing wrong with any of the answers. They just are what they are. I invite you to just be with the question for a while and open your mind to new revelations, a new perspective, and new thoughts.
What is preventing you to step into your calling, your vision?
And then keep wondering: What else?
